The Governors and Headteacher are looking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic class teacher to join our Outstanding School in a permanent position. The school caters for 171 learners aged 4-16 with a wide range of complex needs.

We invite applications from outstanding classroom practitioners who are able to deliver a full, personalised curriculum. Applications are welcomed from both NQTs and experienced teachers, in particular those with experience of teaching learners with complex needs.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of child development and be able to facilitate progress through creative teaching methods and technologies. They will have a strong commitment to working with learners with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities. Many of our learners are working at developmental stages below their age-related expectations, therefore we are looking for someone who can teach learners in an age appropriate way whilst having the understanding that they are working at earlier stages of development.

We invite candidates who have experience of working with learners with SEND within any key stage, across the full range of subjects. The successful candidate will be expected to lead a subject within an Area of Learning Faculty across school.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate effective skills in working with a team of teaching assistants to provide a meaningful, motivating and memorable learning experience for all learners; provide excellent care for all learners within their class; and the whole school. The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to inclusion and working in partnership with all stakeholders.
