From 1st September 2021, the Governing Body of the school are looking for an outstanding teacher to join our team of friendly, enthusiastic and hardworking staff and governors.

We are a caring, happy school where children are valued as individuals and provided with suitable challenge to enable them all to achieve. We can offer you children who are eager to learn and full of enthusiasm as well as a dedicated and welcoming team of staff, parents and governors.

This post will also offer the successful candidate exciting professional development opportunities as our school grows. Briercliffe Primary School currently has 330 pupils on roll. Starting in September 2020, the school began its expansion and our intake increased from 45 to 60 children. Over time, our school will have 420 on roll.

We are looking for someone with ambition and enthusiasm who can work well within a team and can have a lasting, positive impact on our children. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, and be able to plan and deliver an engaging curriculum for Key Stage 2 learners.

The post is suitable for both NQTs and more experienced teachers.
