Saint Bede¿s Catholic High School is a thriving, oversubscribed and highly successful school. It is situated in the pleasant resort town of Lytham, with easy access to the motorway network. Saint Bede¿s is a highly effective school viewed by the pupils as `an inclusive, safe and aspirational community¿. Our most recent Section 48 Inspection described Saint Bede¿s as an `outstanding Catholic school¿ and that the `overall quality of Catholic Education is outstanding because the distinctive Catholic philosophy as lived out in `Being a Bede¿ is interwoven into all aspects of school life and is lived out by all members of the school family'.

The Governors of the school are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and committed Teacher of Religious Education / Assistant Chaplain. Applicants must be practising Catholics who are committed to enhancing the already strong Catholic ethos of the school. The balance between the time allocated to the Chaplaincy role and to teaching in R.E. will be flexible
