We are looking for somebody really special to join our enthusiastic Team from Autumn Term 2021

The Governors, Staff and Pupils of St Anthony's Catholic Primary School in Fulwood, Preston are looking for a dedicated and talented teacher to join us as their new Deputy Headteacher.

We are looking for someone who:-
  • Can support our Catholic ethos;
  • Is an outstanding Teacher that can motivate and enthuse pupils and staff;
  • Really understands how pupils learn and help them make excellent progress;
  • Can support the Headteacher with strong leadership;
  • Is able to share the vision of the Headteacher, Governors and Staff for an outstanding future.

    The pupils want someone who:-
  • Can plan interesting lessons and will go the extra mile to help us learn;
  • Be approachable but firm when needed to be;
  • Have a good sense of humour.

  • Non-contact time of at least 2.5 days per week or equivalent for leading school improvement initiatives and working alongside a supportive Headteacher;

    The successful candidate could start higher up on the pay range depending upon expertise and experience.

    We would like our new Deputy Headteacher to start in the Autumn Term 2021.
