St Peter's is a Voluntary Controlled Church of England Primary School with a strong Christian ethos.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher, whose deployment in school will depend on their strengths, balanced with the needs of the school.
The successful candidate will have a record of consistently high-quality teaching and subject leadership responsibility, including proactively leading the school forward in one Core subject.

We are looking for a teacher who:

can demonstrate innovative and outstanding practice

has high expectations of self and of pupil achievement and behaviour and an understanding of how children learn best

has good interpersonal skills and can work as part of a dedicated team

can create an attractive and stimulating learning environment

Essential Qualifications

Qualified Teacher Status

Successful completion of NQT induction year

Commitment to continuing professional development

Essential Experience

Successful experience of teaching primary aged children

Proven record of continuous good/outstanding teaching and raising attainment

Experience of working with SEND children and of using IEP's
