Information
Governors are looking for an outstanding teacher who is committed to the highest standards of education for all children and can demonstrate ability to raise attainment.

For many years children at St Peters have achieved high standards in mathematics, including 100% reaching expected standard by Y6 and many exceeding this. We are seeking someone with high academic and subject knowledge in mathematics who can develop further or who may already be an existing subject leader with a proven ability to create and maintain high standards across school.

The post is teaching Year 5 in the first instance

We are seeking a teacher who:
- strives for excellence and can demonstrate significant impact on children's learning
- works well with others including children, parents and colleagues
- will support the Christian ethos of the school
- wishes to develop their abilities and experience further
- knows how to competently lead a core subject

We offer:
- professional development in role as subject lead for mathematics
- opportunity to work in a leadership role
- TLR2.1 for a suitably experienced and capable teacher who can take on additional responsibilities
- experience which will expand understanding of teaching from Nursery to Year 6
