The Governors of St Francis of Assisi Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint a friendly, enthusiastic, organised, and hardworking Site Supervisor to fulfil this key role within our wonderful school. Our school is at the heart of the local community with extensive grounds. We are extremely proud of our school and hope the successful candidate will take pride in their work in order to maintain high standards. If you are someone who is hands on, and committed to delivering the highest standards, then we want to hear from you.
The post holder will be expected to work 30 hrs per week. Duties will include opening and closing the school on a daily basis, working Monday - Friday (hours to be arranged). The role will involve basic upkeep and repair maintenance, along with health & safety checks and risk assessments. You will also carry out weekly fire alarm and water checks, and some daily cleaning tasks. Under the general guidance of the Headteacher and Business Manager, the post holder will contribute to the smooth running of the school by carrying out a range of caretaking duties to the agreed quality standards, including security and supervision of the site, winter site safety duties, porterage of supplies to classrooms and the management and monitoring of cleaning staff. This is a 52 week contract and the post holder will be required to work some of the school holidays.
This position is part time, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
