Summary
We are looking for a teaching assistant to support the ethos of our school and the development of our children in our Reception class. As a teaching assistant, you will be expected to model your knowledge and best practice to colleagues and to help ensure our children have the best start in life. At KWPS we believe that by providing a range of rich learning experiences across the Early Years curriculum, our children build on their natural inquisitiveness, to become Year 1 ready and be the best they can be.

  • Essential Qualifications

    English and Mathematics GCSE or equivalent

    Desirable Qualifications
  • NVQ level 2 or above qualification in Childcare/ EYFS

  • Essential Experience
  • Knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Experience of working with or caring for children in an EYFS setting

  • Desirable Experience
  • Experience of supporting pupils with SEND
  • Ability to develop relationships and communication with parents and carers
  • Experience of observations, assessments and planning for your key children in line with EYFS
