  • The Headteacher and Governors of St Mary’s RC Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and talented Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with special educational needs in Year 5, and be part of our hardworking, dedicated team.

    St Mary’s Langho is a happy thriving school set within the beautiful area of Langho and the Ribble Valley. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant to join our happy and dynamic staff team.

    You will assist in the delivery, evaluation and adaptation of the curriculum under the general supervision and direction of the teacher.

    We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:
  • Has experience of supporting children with special educational needs.

  • Prioritises children’s learning and welfare, forging strong relationships with parents and our wider school family.

    Essential Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 or above qualification (or equivalent)
  • Desirable Qualifications
  • First aid / Paediatric first aid.
  • Essential Experience
  • Experience of working with or caring for children of primary school age.
  • Desirable Experience
  • Experience of supporting pupils with special educational needs.
  • Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment.
