LEVEL 1 Teaching Assistant (SEN) – Part-Time (9:30am–2:30pm)

Are you a caring and enthusiastic individual looking to make a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Kingsbury Primary School is currently inviting applications for a Level 1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and nurturing team. This is a part-time role, working Monday to Friday, 9:30am–2:30pm.

We follow topic-based curriculum pathways and integrate sensory lifestyle plans throughout the day to support emotional regulation and holistic development. Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with a range of needs, including GLD and complex autism, in accessing a play-based and sensory curriculum.
- Assist with personal care routines, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
- Help maintain a well-organised and inclusive classroom environment, including preparation of resources and tidying.
- Work closely with the class teacher and other staff to implement individual learning and sensory plans.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing through consistent routines and supportive interactions.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, ideally in an educational or care setting.
- A compassionate and patient approach to supporting children with additional needs.
- Willingness to assist with personal care and classroom organisation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine interest in creative and holistic education.
