Summary
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Breakfast and After School Club Manager to work from 7:30am – 9:00am and 3:00pm – 5:30pm per week. 

An additional 1.5 hours will be paid to cover administration tasks. (21.25 hours).

We are seeking a person who is hardworking, flexible, enthusiastic and caring with a desire to give the children meaningful and fun experiences.  You will be committed to delivering a high quality provision of fun activities to children aged between Reception and Year 6. 

This is a permanent, This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro –rata basis. . 

The ideal candidates will be: 

  • enthusiastic

  • suitably qualified.  
  • have good levels of communication 
  • be able to relate well to pupils, parents/carers

    The post holders will: 

  • Care passionately for all our children, no matter what their barriers are or challenges they bring into school. 
  • supervise and interact with the children 
  • provide activities which are fun responding to the needs of the children 
  • assist in the development of social skills 
  • be responsible for the administration, invoicing and accounts
  • follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times 
  • undertake duties such as preparing snacks, cleaning club room and toys, tidying up,   etc.
  • administer basic first aid where appropriately trained 
  • have knowledge of confidentiality 
  • promote and market the Breakfast and Afterschool Club

  • Essential Qualifications
  • English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent) (A* - C grades) 
  • NVQ level 2 or above qualification appropriate to the post (or equivalent)
  • Desirable Qualifications
  • Paediatric First Aid training 
  • Food Safety training
  • Relevant Child Care qualification NVQ L3 (or equivalent)
