Summary
The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, highly motivated and suitable person to take on the role of a teaching assistant within our school. The post will primarily involve working in 1 to 1 with a child in a reception class. The post is initially until the end of the school year but could be extended pending a budget review.

The successful candidate must have: - high expectations with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, the ability to communicate clearly and positively within a highly effective team, a strong commitment to achieving the highest standards in terms of learning development and well being, a team player who will be ready to be flexible and adaptable and support in the wider school activities and be knowledgeable, hardworking, enthusiastic and caring. Essential Qualifications
  • NVQ level 2 or above qualification –appropriate to the post (or equivalent)
  • GCSE grade c or level 2 equivalent qualifications in English and maths.
