Summary
The Loyne Specialist School is an incredibly successful special school rated by Ofsted as Outstanding for five consecutive inspections.  All of our young people have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).  We also have an onsite independent Post 19-25 provision, ' Grizedale Centre' that offers adult placements to some leavers from the Loyne School. 

We are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, caring and committed Welfare Assistant to join our welcoming team. We are searching for someone with a positive work ethos and a passion for working with children and young people with SEND.  The role involves feeding, supervision at lunch time (including play supervision), toileting and attending to personal care and hygiene needs. In addition, other duties that are commensurate to the grade of the role to support pupils and the class team will be directed by the teacher.
