Summary
The Governing Board of Ightenhill Primary School is seeking a dedicated, child-focused Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.

This role will primarily involve working in Key Stage 2, providing tailored support for a pupil with SEND needs, focusing on both learning and behaviour.

  • GCSE English and Maths Grade 5 equivalent or above
  • TA2 or equivalent qualification

  • Essential Experience
  • Relevant experience worked with primary age pupils in a school setting
  • An understanding of the importance of safeguarding in a school setting
  • Desirable Experience
  • Experience working with children with additional learning, behavioural or emotional needs
  • An understanding of Trauma Informed Practice
  • An understanding of Autism and how to support pupils with ASD
