We are looking for a proactive and experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Special Educational Needs and behaviour management. Part of this role will be supporting children on a 1:1 basis with a range of SEND needs across school. This role offers the chance to make a significant difference in children’s learning and development.
We are looking for an applicant who can rise to the challenges of working with children with complex needs. The candidate must have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) / relevant experience.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant:
- with relevant NVQ level 2 qualification (or equivalent)
- who has experience of working with children with SEN, especially neuro diverse children
- who has experience of nurturing child interaction and behaviour
- with experience of working across the primary phase
- who is resilient, reflected and committed
- with the ability to work as a team
- who consistently has high expectations both for themselves and the children in their care
- who will ensure our children are supported socially, emotionally and academically
- who is passionate about children’s learning and determined to see that all children are inspired and succeed with enjoyment and enthusiasm
- who will be dynamic in preparing and adapting learning under the direction of the class teacher
- who can support with intimate care of children as appropriate (desirable)
