Summary
Business Support Officer
Part-time: Monday–Friday, 9:30am–12:30pm (term time only

We’re on the lookout for a Business Support Officer to join our busy, friendly school office. At Flakefleet, we’re not your average school – we’re a place where children and staff are encouraged to dream big, where kindness and creativity matter, and where our office team plays a key role in keeping everything running smoothly.

This role is perfect for someone with strong business administration skills, who enjoys being organised, juggling a variety of tasks and working as part of a supportive team. You’ll be the welcoming face and voice of our school office, supporting staff, families and visitors while also keeping our systems and records in good order.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing general administrative and clerical support – from word processing and filing to distributing mail 
  • Maintaining and updating manual and computerised records, including pupil data and attendance.
  • Welcoming visitors, answering phones and responding to queries in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Helping to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes

  • Experience with systems like SIMS/Arbor is a bonus
