The Governors at Howick Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our team. This post will be to support a child within our Year 5 and 6 classroom, assisting them and the other children in their learning.
We are looking for someone with passion and determination, who loves working with young children to help build upon our experienced and dedicated school team.
We are looking for a candidate who:

- Can work as part of a team
- Has high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
- Is flexible, adaptable and able to use their own initiative
- Has the ability to motivate and inspire our children.

Hours of work - 9:00 - 12:00 Monday- Friday

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.

- The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children with SEND. We are seeking someone who is patient, empathetic, resilient and able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils.
