Summary
The governors of the Federation of Duke Street and Highfield Nursery Schools are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Level 3 apprentice Early Years educator to join our team. We would like someone who has a passion for working with children, is willing to learn and enjoys working as part of a team. The post will initially be to work with our children aged 2-3 years old.

If appointed, you will be part of a team of teaching assistants and teachers who share a commitment to providing the best possible education, to all of the students at Duke Street & Highfield Nursery Schools. The job is extremely rewarding, as you know you are making a difference to the lives of the young children you are working with.

Post details:

Based: Initially to start at Highfield Nursery School but required to work across the federation

Hours per week: 30 hours (our setting is open 7:30-5:30pm and shift patterns will be set up within our opening hours)

Weeks per year: 39 weeks

Contract length: duration of apprenticeship course, with the possibility of this being extended.  

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary received will be paid on a pro –rata basis and will be in line with apprenticeship pay.
