Summary
We are looking to appoint 2 hard-working and motivated Teaching Assistants. They will be joining a well-established team of professionals, who are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We offer a staff uniform and wellbeing initiatives. We are a special school for pupils and students between 4-19 years old. We cater mainly for pupils with severe learning difficulties or profound and multiple learning needs.

In addition we have a number of pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and a small population of pupils with complex needs. This role is to work across school at the busiest time of the school day, supporting pupils over the lunchtime session and personal care. The ideal applicants will have had experience in supporting pupils with special needs in a special or mainstream setting.

The hours are 11:00-3.15 Monday to Friday tern time plus inset days. The ideal start date is 3rd November, subject to satisfactory references, PH pre-placement questionnaire and Enhanced DBS clearance.


This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro –rata basis.
