We are seeking a dedicated School Office Support staff member to join our team on a temporary basis until Christmas, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate. This position is ideal for individuals with previous experience in school-based environments, offering a structured weekday schedule in a supportive educational setting.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Perform general reception duties including handling phone calls, greeting visitors, and managing mail.
- Responsible for cash handling and managing small transactions.
- Maintain accurate records and data entry using the SIMS (School Information Management System).
- Assist in the organisation and filing of documents and educational materials.
- Support staff and students by providing necessary administrative assistance.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures, particularly regarding data protection and confidentiality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative or reception role, preferably within a school environment.
- Familiarity with School Information Management System (SIMS) is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle cash responsibly and accurately.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
