The Governors and children at Whittlefield Primary School are looking for two positive, friendly and hardworking Welfare Assistant to join our lunchtime team. We are looking for someone who has a passion for providing high quality supervision for our children. We would like our new members of staff to be fully involved in school life, and use positive praise to encourage the children to thrive in a caring environment.
We expect the candidate to be an excellent role model for our children and be able to:- Supervise children during meal times or in the playground
- Develop positive relationships with both adults and children
- Encourage and engage children in suitable play activities
- Help make our lunchtimes a safe and happy place for our children
- Work as part of a team under the direction of school staff
Hours of work 12pm to 1.15pm Monday to Friday, term time only
This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro –rata basis.
