  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM - 3:15 PM

  • Join a very popular primary school in rural Lancaster as a General Teaching Assistant. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about education and enjoys working closely with children to enhance their learning experience.

    Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist with general classroom duties to support the teacher.

  • Work with small groups of students to facilitate learning and engagement.

  • Conduct educational interventions to help students meet their learning goals.

  • Prepare learning materials and set up equipment needed for daily activities.

  • Assist in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.

  • Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and participate in discussions to improve student outcomes.


  • Required :
  • TA level 2 minimum

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with small groups.

  • Patience and a positive attitude towards student development.

  • An understanding of classroom duties and child development.

  • Enhanced DBS check
