Summary
The headteacher and governors of Lytham Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint a positive, passionate and compassionate teaching assistant to support a KS2 pupil with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including autism.

The ideal candidate will have a calm, patient approach and a strong understanding of how to build a trusting relationship that supports the child’s individual needs.

Experience in managing behaviour sensitively and effectively is essential, as is a commitment to promoting inclusion, emotional wellbeing and consistent support. If you are dedicated to making a meaningful difference in a child’s learning journey, we would love to hear from you. The role will also include supporting the child during break time and part of lunchtime.

  • Start 8.55am Finish 3.30pm 20 minute lunch break. This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro –rata basis.

    The successful applicant will join our Lytham staff team, and will contribute to the high standard of teaching and learning in the school.
