Summary
Sir Tom Finney Community High school is a successful Generic Secondary Special School (11-19) in Preston As a result of a growth in student numbers we are seeking to appoint motivated, skilled and enthusiastic level 2b teaching assistants to join our dedicated and experienced team to provide outstanding learning opportunities.

The candidates must have excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship skills and be competent with ICT.
You will be expected to support across the full range of special educational needs, learning difficulties and disabilities, this will include supporting Teaching and Learning, moving and handling, managing behaviours that may challenge and intimate care/health needs.
The successful applicants will need to be innovative, passionate, creative and hard working with a positive attitude to working within a dedicated team of staff to meet the full range of needs of our young people.
Full safeguarding and DBS checks will take place and a commitment to sustained and regular attendance is essential.
In return you will become part of a supportive professional team Making a Difference to Children and Young People with SEND and their families.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro –rata basis.
