We have an exciting opportunity to appoint an inspirational Early Years Practitioner. The governors are seeking to appoint a person who is highly motivated, with creative thinking, energy and vision to join our wonderful team.
Working hours are 31.5 per week 8:30am - 3:20pm and the post is term time only plus 5 days for inset days.
Our ideal candidate must be qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3, and have experience of working in a Nursery/EYFS setting with children in the Early Years (3-5 years).
We are looking for someone who will:
Have knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
To undertake activities to assist in monitoring the personal social and emotional needs of pupils.
Be able to build positive relationships with all children
Be keen to learn
Display energy, creativity and imagination - we want someone who will share joy with our children
Be able to work successfully in our wonderful team - being flexible, taking direction but also showing initiative
Be caring, friendly, enthusiastic and dedicated to ensuring children achieve full potential
Be able to share our commitment for inclusion developing the best possible learning environment for all children
Hold high expectations for what our children with additional needs can achieve across the curriculum

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.

- Essential Qualifications

NVQ level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education
GCSE Grade 4 - 9 (C or above) in English and Maths
