Astley Park School is a successful and vibrant special school catering for pupils aged 4–16 with a wide range of complex learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, sensory needs, medical conditions, and communication difficulties. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join our skilled and compassionate team.
As a Teaching Assistant Level 3, you will work closely with teachers to support the planning and delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum tailored to individual needs. You’ll help to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment, empowering pupils to develop their academic, social, and independence skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and delivering learning activities for individuals and groups
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and personal development
- Adapt and differentiate curriculum content
- Provide cover supervision for classes where required
- Monitor, record, and report on pupil progress
- Develop strong, supportive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers
- Contribute to behaviour management and safeguarding
This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro –rata basis.
