We are seeking a motivated, caring, and enthusiastic Apprentice Early Years Practitioner to join our vibrant, Reception / pre-school team within a warm and welcoming primary school environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about working with young children to gain hands-on experience while working towards a Early Years Educator qualification
The successful candidate will support the planning and delivery of high-quality learning experiences, tailored to the individual needs of children aged 3–5 years. You will be guided and supported by experienced practitioners and take part in all aspects of daily early years school life.
As an apprentice, you will be working full time at St. Anne's Copp School and Preschool. The role will be as an Early Year’s Childcare Apprenticeship. You will be employed for 30 hours.
Training is provided and this will take up 20% of these hours (one day).
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum or any age-appropriate alternate curriculum
- Assist in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
- Lead and Engage in play and learning activities with children, promoting development across all areas
- Help with the observation and recording of children’s progress and contribute to planning next steps
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Support daily routines, including snack time, toileting, and outdoor play
- Attend training sessions and complete coursework towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification
- Adhere to school policies

Grade 4/C or above on Maths and English
