Summary
We are seeking to appoint a technician to work in the Design Technology & Art Department to assist teachers in the preparation and maintenance of teaching resources and equipment for pupils in Design Technology and Art lessons.

Responsibilities include:
  • Prepare and set up specific curriculum resources/materials/equipment for lessons
  • Clean and undertake routine maintenance of equipment
  • Ensure the safe storage of equipment
  • Provide administrative support to the classroom teacher

    Post holders may have some specialist knowledge or experience working within these subject areas but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

    • Essential Qualifications
  • English and maths GCSE's A* - C / Grade 5 or above (or equivalent)
    • Desirable Experience
  • Experienced in the use and maintenance of equipment relevant to the Design Technology and Art Department.
  • Training will be provided as required.
