Teaching Assistant Level 2 - KS1
- Location: Lancaster
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
- This role is expected to last for a full academic year
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 2 to start in September 2025. This role is ideal for someone who has experience or a strong interest in working with children in Key Stage 1.
Day-to-day of the role:- Assist in the preparation and delivery of daily activities, ensuring they meet the educational needs of the children.
- Support the teacher in managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment.
- Help with the setup and cleanup of activities and materials to facilitate daily classroom routines.
- Work closely with the teacher to monitor the progress of students and provide feedback.
- Assist children with special educational needs, under the direction of the teacher.
- Engage with children during lessons to enhance their learning experience and foster a positive relationship.
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Experience working with children in KS1 is desirable but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and development.
- Commitment to professional growth and continuous development.
