The Governors of St Mary's Catholic Primary School wish to appoint an assistant to support After School Club.
As an After School Club Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that our children enjoy their time outside of the classroom, helping them to thrive and develop through play and structured activities.
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic After School Club Assistant to join our team. The successful applicant will be expected to work with our children after school Monday - Friday 3.15-5.30pm. The role is for 11.25 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with children aged 4-11 years at our after school club.
- Facilitate fun, educational, and creative activities.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all children in the club.
- Support children with learning activities and social skills.
- Promote positive behaviour and ensure the well-being of all children.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents and staff.
- Follow all health, safety, and safeguarding procedures and policies.
