We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and a passion for supporting young children in their learning and development. They should be nurturing, patient, and able to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents. We are seeking someone who can work collaboratively with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging learning experiences, support children’s personal, social, and emotional development, and contribute to creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment. A proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to use initiative are essential for this role.
This role is for 12.5 hours per week. Working days Thursday and Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm.

- Essential Qualifications

- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and Care, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade 4/C or above.
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and Care, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
- Desirable Qualifications

- Paediatric First Aid Certificate.

- Essential Experience

- Experience of working with children in an early years setting, ideally across pre-school and Reception.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
- Experience planning and delivering Phase One Phonics.
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures and the ability to maintain a safe learning environment.
- Experience of working with children in an early years setting, ideally across pre-school and Reception.
- Desirable Experience

- Experience of using EYFS online learning journals (e.g. Seesaw).
- Training in specific interventions (e.g. phonics schemes such as Red Rose Phonics).
- Experience supporting children with SEND.
