Actual salary based on 25 hours per week, term time only - £16,139 to £17,215
Permanent, term time plus 10 days (2/3 days during February half term and 7/8 days throughout the Summer holidays)
25 hours per week (Suggested hours 8.30am – 1.30pm however there is flexibility to work between the hours of 7.30am and 5.00pm)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and well organised individual to the newly established post of Finance Assistant. You will support the School Business Manager and Assistant School Business Manager with financial operations, ensuring effective, high quality and professional support. Responsibilities include handling daily finance tasks such as processing orders, invoices, and payments and maintaining accurate records in SIMS Finance 6. Whilst experience of working in school finance and in educational IT based systems is desirable, it is not essential as full training will be provided.

You should have:- A minimum of 4 GCSE’s Grade C or above (or equivalent) which must include English and Maths;
- Experience of working within a financial environment;
- Experience of Microsoft applications;
- Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of good financial practice;
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to be discrete and confidential in all aspects of the role.
