We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Pastoral Manager to join our busy and dedicated team.    Whitworth Community High School, is a small, inclusive, successful and happy school situated in a semi-rural location between Lancashire and Rochdale. 

What are we looking for?

We are seeking to appoint a Pastoral Manager for our busy school. This is an exciting opportunity and requires someone who can offer the following:-

  • Be the first point of contact for pupils and families.
  • Be the liaison between families and other children’s agencies, such as social services.
  • Is warm, welcoming and helpful to people making contact with the school.
  • Can act as a good role model for pupils.
  • Can develop a professional relationship with pupils which is firm, fair, caring and friendly.
  • Can implement the school’s Behaviour Policy in every aspect of school life and manage the behaviour issues of pupils
