Summary
Brookfield School is an LA maintained special school based on two sites (Poulton le Fylde & Fleetwood). It also has an intensive support pathway in which pupils are supported in alternative environments and locations. We currently have 88 pupils on roll who have a range of additional needs and barriers to learning.

We are looking to appoint a committed and suitably experienced/qualified Teaching Assistant L3. Working in a busy and rewarding environment, you will provide a consistent, structured and enjoyable experience for all.

All pupils at Brookfield follow an individualised curriculum and approach to learning that considers their needs, experiences and aspirations. We are looking to widen what we offer to support the needs of a diverse group of pupils. In return we can provide excellent opportunities, support and development for the right person.

A driving licence is not compulsory but provides opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and support the school transport function (vehicles provided).

Essential Qualifications
  • NVQ L3 or above qualification or equivalent relevant to the role
  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent

  • Supporting children with SEN (Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs) - including challenging behaviour.
  • Working in a relevant classroom/service environment.
