- Essential Qualifications

- NVQ Level 2 qualification in Caretaking (or equivalent experience)
- Full driving licence

You will have:
- A keen eye for detail to ensure our facilities are clean, safe and well maintained.
- A courteous manner in dealing with members of the public and contractors
- The ability to identify work priorities and manage their own workload, whilst ensuring that lower priority work is kept up to date.

- Essential Experience

- Experience of undertaking manual tasks (eg. maintenance, DIY), using powered tools and equipment, within the reasonable capacity of a normal handyperson.
- Experience of security-related duties
- Basic DIY/repairs
- Awareness of Health and Safety Issues
- Awareness of COSHH

- An understanding of the main Health and Safety Regulations, including COSHH and risk assessment, and how they apply in a school environment.
