Permanent - Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) & Teaching Assistant 2b (TA2b) Opportunity at Singleton C of E Primary School.

Singleton C of E Primary School is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team in a dual-role position as Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) & Teaching Assistant 2b (TA2b).
This varied and fulfilling position offers excellent opportunities for professional growth while playing a vital role in shaping the education and experiences of our pupils.
As a TA2b, you will:
- Support pupils in Key Stage 2 with literacy and numeracy.
- Assist teachers in delivering high-quality lessons.
- Provide encouragement and guidance to help children reach their full potential.
As a HLTA, you will:
- Independently plan, lead, and deliver lessons from Early Years to Year 6.
- Cover PPA and management time for staff across the school.
- Step in to cover staff absences, ensuring continuity and stability for pupils.
Work closely with teachers and senior leaders to support behaviour management and track pupil progress

- Essential Qualifications

- Recognised and relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
- GCSE Grade C or above in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy
- Recognised and relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
- Desirable Qualifications

- NVQ Level 4 qualification (or equivalent).
- HLTA qualification or relevant experience in an educational setting.
- NVQ Level 4 qualification (or equivalent).

- Proven track record of delivering high-quality whole-class lessons and group inverventions.
- Experience working with children and in a classroom environment.
- Experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality whole-class lessons and group inverventions.
- Desirable Experience

- Experience supporting pupil progress tracking and assessment
- Experience working in a leadership or staff management capacity
- Experience in administrative tasks related to classroom support
