The opportunity has arisen for a Part-Time, Temporary Level 2 Teaching Assistant vacancy here at St Joseph’s to start on 1st September 2025
We are looking for an outstanding, enthusiastic and experienced teaching assistant to work in our lovely school. The ideal candidate will be patient, kind and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant who can provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children, working as part of a strong and supportive team
Working closely with the SENCO, teachers, external professionals, the teaching assistant will be
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to supporting children with SEND
- A great communicator and team player, with a positive and proactive approach
- Experienced in working with children, particularly those with autism (desirable)
- Passionate about inclusion and the power of education to transform lives
- Flexible, adaptable, and ready to take on new challenges with enthusiasm.
