Summary
Sherwood Primary School is a two form entry Primary School in the heart of Fulwood. We operate a thriving before and after school facility that provides high quality wrap around care for our families. We are looking to appoint an additional playworker to work alongside our BASE Managers to deliver high quality play opportunities for our children. The successful applicant will be expected to work with our children after School Monday - Friday 3.30-6pm. The role is for 12.5 hours per week. We are well equipped for activities indoors with a great outdoor space that is accessible in all weathers.  The club offers a range of play and craft activities each day and we are well resourced to provide these. If you have a strength or interest, please outline this in your application.  We are looking for a positive role model for children who will lead by example and form positive relationships within a team.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Teaching assistant, play worker or childcare qualifications.
  • No formal qualifications are required but the post holder must be literate.
  • Training on a First Aid programme would be an advantage or the willingness to undertake such training as necessary.
