Summary
The Governing Board of Ightenhill Primary School are recruiting an enthusiastic, reliable and professional member of staff to take on the management of our before school club and after school club.

The role is during term-time from 7.45am until the start of the school day and and after school from 3.30pm until 5.30pm. There is also the possibility of additional hours at lunchtime for the successful candidate.

In this role you will be responsible -
  • To lead the day today management and organisation of the before school and after school clubs, supervising their activities and inducting new staff members with support from the School Business Manager.
  • Work with all staff to ensure and provide care, refreshments, play opportunities and activities in a nurturing and safe environment.
  • Liaise with the school with regard to the needs of the children who attend the clubs.
  • To liaise with parents to encourage parental involvement and support.
  • To ensure that adequate standards of safety and hygiene are maintained throughout the school clubs, including the completion of appropriate risk assessments and recording and reporting of hazards and  accidents.
  • To have due regard for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and to follow the child protection procedures adopted by the school.
