The Governors from St John the Baptist RC Primary school are seeking a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to work across the Early Years Foundation stage.
We are a Roman Catholic school in Padiham with around 240 children on role. Our School’s mission statement is to ‘Love One Another’ and we are looking for someone to support our Catholic ethos whilst providing high quality provision, care and nurture for our pupils.
Our successful candidate will:- Be caring and compassionate
- Be able to work with small groups and within a 1:1 capacity
- Have EYFS experience
- Have experience of teaching phonics (ELS Scheme used in school)
- Display positive behaviour management strategies.
- Have experience of working with children with ASD, ADHD and Special Educational Needs
- Display professional conduct at all times
- Be a strong team player
- Demonstrate flexibility
The hours are 8.55 until 15.20 per day, term time only with half an hour lunch.
