Summary
St. Andrew’s Church of England Infant School is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and dedicated member of staff to provide additional support for our pupils and families. The post holder will work under the support and direction of Senior Leaders to extend and enhance our current learning and pastoral intervention offer.

The successful candidate will be willing and able to work independently, committed to building relationships including with children, parents and professionals, understanding individual needs and identifying opportunities to increase engagement, outcomes and enjoyment of school.

The role is flexible in terms of working hours and days. This can be discussed at interview.

Essential Qualifications
  • Professional/academic level 3 qualification or equivalent or substantial experience.

  • Essential Experience
  • Experience of, or the ability to demonstrate the competence to work directly with individual children, young people and families to identify and assess their needs and make appropriate planned responses to improve outcomes.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Desirable Experience
  • Experience of working with children to deliver emotional support interventions
