Summary
Adlington Primary School is a wonderful, smaller than average primary school, situated in the heart of the beautiful village of Adlington. We put high quality teaching, learning and pastoral care at the heart of all that we do and we pride ourselves on our excellent relationships with our children, families and community. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Early Career Teacher to join our dedicated team from September 2025. The year group will be decided, in collaboration with the successful applicant, based upon their strengths and expertise.

    We are looking for someone who:
  • Has a passion for teaching and learning and is an excellent classroom practitioner, with high expectations for children demonstrating an awareness of what it takes for every child to flourish, thrive and feel safe
  • Is able to inspire and motivate all pupils and is committed to delivering an engaging curriculum and enhancing learning both in and out of the classroom 
  • Uses effective and sequential planning, ongoing assessment and adaptive teaching to ensure that every child makes good progress
  • Is innovative and forward thinking, using research to underpin practice
  • Works well with others and builds positive relationships with children and their parents and carers
  • Shows a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school
  • Is committed to delivering the school vision and upholding the school values of integrity, courage and kindness.
