Summary
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and pro-active cleaner to join our team of Site Support Staff on a permanent basis.  The successful candidate will take be tenacious, adaptable and a strong team player taking pride in our school.  In return they will have the experience of working within a positive team culture with full training provided, to ensure continuous high standards throughout. Our cleaning roles are extremely valued to us all and appointing the right person is essential to the smooth running of the school.  The post is for a cleaner paid at FLW.. The position is term time, Monday to Friday with an additional 4 weeks of cleaning during the School holidays.  The hours of this post are Monday - Friday 7.00 - 8.30am. 

It is expected that the applicant will work flexibly to suit the needs of the school. Working patterns may be subject to change (with notice) and may vary during the school holidays. Essential Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 in Cleaning or equivalent.
  • Essential Experience
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Flexible attitude to work Good interpersonal & communication skill
  • Cleaning experience, preferably within a school or of a similar large establishment
  • Positive 'can-do' attitude

  • Desirable Experience
  • Awareness of Health & Safety and COSHH
  • Experience of using powered equipment (eg floor buffer, rotowash, jetwasher)
