Summary
What skills and experience we are looking for

Due to the retirement of a long-standing staff member, we are recruiting for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in a mixed-age class consisting of pre-school, reception, and year 1 pupils. Brindle is a rural school located close to Clayton-Le-Woods, Hoghton, Bamber Bridge and Whittle-Le-Woods. We are only 10 minutes away from the M61.

This position is part of a job share with another Teaching Assistant 3 who is supportive and experienced.

You would be required to work:

Thursday 8:40am until 3:30pm with 20 minutes for lunch.

Friday 8:40am until 3:30pm with 20 minutes for lunch.

Total 13 hours each week term time only.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience of working with EYFS and/or KS1 pupils.
  • A good work ethic – hardworking, proactive, and enthusiastic.
  • A clear understanding of childhood development.
  • A Level 3 Early Years Qualification as per the DfE's requirements for working with preschool.
  • A Level 2 or above English qualification and a Mathematics qualification.
