Summary
The Governors of Sandylands CP School would like to appoint an experienced, dedicated and skilled teaching assistant to work in early years.  The role will involve working with individuals and groups to enable children achieve their very best. The post is advertised as a minimum of 23 1/2 hours with the potential for additional hours.  There is also the opportunity of an additional 3.75 hours for welfare lunch duties (£12.00 per hour).

Essential Qualifications
  • NVQ level 2 or above qualification - appropriate to the post

  • Essential Experience
  • Experience of working with or caring for young  children.
  • Ability to operate at a level of understanding and competence equivalent to NVQ Level 2 standard.
  • Ability to relate well to children

  • Desirable Experience
  • Experience of working in a relevant classroom/service environment
  • Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
