The governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teaching assistant to join this popular and inclusive school. The school serves a diverse community which has an increasing number of vulnerable families, families supported by pupil premium funding and children with a wide range of SEND needs. We are a designated School of Sanctuary supporting refugee and other EAL families
The successful candidate will be a positive, highly motivated team player, and someone who is keen to grow as a professional, having high expectations of themselves. They must also have high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour. The governors are seeking someone who is keen to get to know children as individuals and who is able to work collaboratively, flexibly, as part of a caring, nurturing team.
The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting within the classroom. As a TA3 you will have responsible for leading intervention sessions focused on developing key skills in mathematics, English and phonics. If based in an EYFS classroom, the role will also involve supporting the children as a key worker.
