An amazing and rare opportunity to join the team at Belthorn Academy Primary School. The staff and governors are seeking to appoint a teaching assistant to join the Belthorn family. The vacancy is for a teaching assistant to join one of our KS2 classes, we're looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed person to join the team.
We are looking for someone who:
- will work closely with the class teacher to deliver high quality learning experiences for the children
- work within the Key Stage 2 environment
- is organised - a team player and has great team-spirit
- has high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour - has high standards of English and Maths - is able to offer small group intervention sessions
- will engage with professional development opportunities, training sessions and CPD - is highly motivated, flexible, adaptable and able to use their own initiative
- can support the school's vision and values
- Is flexible and rises to a challenge

- This is a term time only position, working hours are 8:30am- 4:30pm, this includes one hour welfare cover at lunch time, a 30 minute lunch break and 1 hour per evening supporting in our after school club.
