Are you an experienced and passionate HLTA looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real difference? St Joseph's Catholic Primary School Brindle is seeking a dedicated HLTA to join our lovely team and to provide high-quality cover across the school, to support class teachers in the delivery and assessment of the curriculum and wider life of the school, to support the training and development of TA's and to work within our team to provide wraparound care for our pupils. Our team needs your drive and energy to enhance the wonderful provision we continue to deliver every day. In return we will offer children and colleagues who will support and value you.

As a HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning across the school.
Your responsibilities will include:- Delivering high-quality learning activities to classes in the absence of the class teacher.
- Working closely with teachers to plan and adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of our children.
- Providing targeted interventions for individuals and small groups to support their learning and development.
- Working collaboratively with the wider school team to contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Working with the team to provide out of school provision
- Providing physical activity clubs at lunchtimes
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual who:- Holds a HLTA qualification or is educated to the equivalent level.
- Has experience working with children with special educational needs.
- Can confidently lead whole-class teaching in the absence of the class teacher.
- Has excellent communication and leadership skills to support and train other staff.
- Can adapt to different situations and demonstrate flexibility when covering classes across the school
