The Governing Board of Ightenhill Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic, child-centred person to join our inclusion team.
We are a school which is built on relationships and these are based around our seven school values of Ambition, Cooperation, Honesty, Kindness, Resilience, Respect and Responsibility.
Our inclusion staff support pupils learning and also support our pupils wider pastoral needs in the classroom and beyond.
To work with us at Ightenhill you need to be committed to 'making a difference' for each and every child in our setting.
All of our staff are Trauma Informed and the ability to form positive, genuine relationships with pupils is essential in this role.
We recognise the challenges that our school community face and are ambitious for all our pupils to thrive and achieve in school.
Our inclusion staff are key members of our team they work with groups of pupils in the classroom, support individual children and deliver interventions.
You will need to be adaptable, patient, empathetic, organised and most importantly possess a positive mindset and be willing to learn and grow with our children.

The role is being advertised as a 31 hour a week post and includes lunchtime responsibility.
The position is advertised to start in June 2025, but we may be able to start earlier if the successful candidate is available to do so.
We are also willing to consider suitable candidates who may not be able to take up post until the start of the new school year in September 2025.
