The Headteacher and Governors of Sherwood Primary School are looking to appoint a highly organised, flexible, forward-thinking and innovative Business Manager for our large two-form entry Primary School. The successful candidate requires relevant experience in financial management, health and safety, human resources, compliance and administration. This role is being offered at Grade 9 and reflects the level of prior experience required by the successful candidate. This role is for 52 weeks per year, 37 hours per week.
Sherwood Primary School is at the heart of a thriving community, with 428 pupils on roll. The successful candidate will form part of the School Leadership Team, working closely with the Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher and Business Support Officer. The role includes the administration of our thriving Before and After School Club, that provides our School with additional income. The successful candidate will be required to attend all Governors meetings, acting as Clerk to Governor Committee Meetings and Management Committee meetings for BASE.
This is a full-time position commencing as soon as possible after May Half term, on a permanent contract. The ideal candidate will have had prior experience of working in a School environment in a Business Manager role or a candidate who can demonstrate how their experience and skills can transfer to our school environment. Candidates must have experience of managing budgets and finance.
